won the competition I entered it in! Cool huh?
I won $80 member dollars at the site which I can now use to enter more competitions or promote my stories so they gain more popularity on the site.

I've submitted my book 'How to create a Super Hero' to the web site 'Long Tale Press'.

How this works is ... the books that get the most votes are the ones that are published.

For a little while my book will be in the newly submitted works on a bar at the side. When it's gone from there you will have to click on 'submissions' and then 'search' and type in the title 'How to Create a super Hero'

You may also have to join to review.
i know it's a little bit of work, (I'm trying to work out how to do a direct link) but you would REALLY help me out.

It's a very new publishing company and still small which will give me a good chance I think.

Maybe I can get this book published. I've tried to submit the original cover by but I'm not sure it's loading (if you see it let me know). Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to submit the fantastic illustrations by that were included in the self published version. Unfortunately though, I hardly sold any with the self published title, as it's just too hard to get people to look there.

I was offered a deal to publish the book I've been putting up here for free - but I declined.
I didn't want to compromise my principles or let anyone down. I promised it would be a free book, so free it will stay. I'm not even sure if anyone here at DA is reading it, but it's being read where I post on other sites.

Luckily the publisher is willing to look at the next manuscript I write on the strength of this one. He was very gratious and understood my reasons for declining.

For the competition, but that's OK. I've been pretty bad not putting up the next bit of the story.

I'll work on it soon i promise (actually it's already half done!)
